Personal loan is usually sanctioned depending on your ability to pay. With bankruptcy, chances may be low to get a personal loan sanctioned. One easy way, of course, is to borrow money from a friend or relative. However, there are many lenders and institutions that may help you getting a personal loan even with a bad credit rating. Apparently, the rate of interest charged will be very high.

Analayse carefully the pros and cons before taking a personal loan. It may not always be a wise decision to take a personal loan when you are bankrupt. Remember, you will be adding another liability with no money in bank, and in many cases without any permanent source of income. It is usually recommended not to take a personal loan when you are bankrupt because you will be paying a high rate of interest and making your future very difficult. A personal loan will only act as a temporary relief. However, if you really need some money at the time of bankruptcy then personal loan comes as an air of relief in testing winds.

In the end, just be careful with the decision and make sure that you make arrangements to pay EMI’s of the personal you are looking for.
